Cypress (Cupressus L.) - a genus of coniferous trees and shrubs of the cypress family. It includes about 17-19 species, found in Central America, Asia from south-west China, through the Himalayan region to south-west Asia and North Africa. Native to southwestern Asia, the Green Cypress is a frequently planted ornamental species throughout the Mediterranean. Cypress wood is extremely hard and durable, so it has many industrial uses. The secret to the durability of the wood are the oils it contains, which prevent decay even in wet conditions.
When it comes to colors, the sapwood is pale yellow, while the heartwood can be of various shades - light, dark or even reddish-brown. Cypress is a willingly planted ornamental tree, which, due to its longevity and evergreen leaves, was considered by many peoples as a symbol of immortality. Due to its durability, resistance to pests and unusual charm, cypress wood is very often used in furniture. This type of wood can also be used to create doors, kitchen utensils, jewelry and various sculptures. According to tradition, the ark that Noah built was made of cypress wood.
Made in Poland.
The creation of each of our wooden bracelets is accompanied by a complex and time-consuming production process. We attach great importance to every, even the smallest aspect of our bracelets. A significant part of the production is done by hand, which is slowly unheard of nowadays. Grinding, polishing and precise wood threading is the result of hard work of our hands.
