Rosewood Santos.

Rosewood Santos is a wood obtained from tropical trees closely related to each other: Dalbergia and Machaerium, that grow in regions of Central and Southern America, Africa, Madagascar and Southern Asia. The most common species of this tree in Europe is East-Indian Palisander. It can attain a height of 20-25 m, with trunk up to 12 m long with 80 cm diameter. It grows very slow and only after 100 years gets higher. Palisander wood exudes pungent and aromatic scent. Palisander is a heavy and extremely durable wood with a decorative structure and a distinctive ring pattern.
