All Bewood products are made in Poland. The wooden cases are manufactured in a workshop located near Warsaw. An experienced staff takes care of the creation of each wooden case, from the design stage to packing and shipping to the customer. Bewood takes full responsibility for the goods, as the entire complex production process takes place in Poland with all quality standards maintained.

Olive.

The European olive (Olea europaea) is a species that belongs to family Oleaceae. Its native land is a region of lands around the Mediterranean Sea, The Arabian Peninsula, and in Western Asia countries (Cyprus, Israel, Jordan, Turkey). It was artificially introduced and proliferated in the USA, Hawaii, Australia and New Zealand. In its natural climate olive can grow to a maximum height of 10 to 12 metres and is treated there as a utilitarian tree, with fruits widely used in cooking. The tree itself has a diversified colouring – its sapwood has shades ranging from grey to light yellow, heartwood is yellowish brown or dark olive brown. The olive wood durability is average. It is prone to processing, easy to shape with all kinds of tools and quite indisposed to cleavage. Olive trees are used to produce various objects of everyday use, however due to its slow growth, its wood is quite expensive.
