Bocote.

Bocote (Black rose) – this intriguing name belongs to species of wood logged from forests in South America – mostly Bolivia. Other used names are: Morado, Ibramoroti. This wood species belongs to the genus Dalbergia. It is characterized by remarkable elegance and durability. This wood, due to the fact that can be easily processed, is widely used in production of exclusive woodwork, artistic objects as well as musical instruments. It is also perfect for flooring. It is a though and resistant to damages wood with a defined and complicated ring pattern. The effect is also heightened by incredibly various and rich colouring. Complexions starting with light red with brown hue, ending up with purple-brown with black or olive strips, make Rosewood products look very attractive. This species is sensitive to sunlight-when exposed to sunlight it becomes over time intensively brown.
